Fly-half Yapp released by Exeter

Exeter Chiefs have confirmed that their longest-serving fly-half, Tony Yapp, has been released.

Yapp, 31, was with the Chiefs for seven years and first appeared against Wakefield in 2002, he went on to become the club's record points scorer.

During his time at Sandy Park he scored 51 tries, 236 penalties, 399 conversions and 13 drop-goals, adding up to a total of 1,800 points.

Yapp missed much of last season due to a knee injury.
