Leeds Carnegie's Vili Ma'asi will make his long-awaited return from injury in Monday's A game against Bristol.
The 32-year-old Tongan hooker has only played twice this season due to a neck injury and was due to feature in last Monday's postponed A fixture with Bath.
Head coach Neil Back told BBC Radio Leeds: "He's worked very hard to get back to full fitness.
"We'll give him game time against Bristol and if he get's through that he'll be back in the first team soon."
Prop Juan Gomez is also back in first-team contention for Saturday's game at Manchester after recovering from a leg problem.
The Argentina international has made three appearances for Leeds since joining on a season-long loan from Leinster.
Back added: "We've been impressed with Gomez since his arrival here.
"He's a great character and a good rugby players and is loving the environment he is privileged to work in here."
