Mounts Bay slump to late defeat

Mounts Bay just missed their first win of the season in National Two after going down 14-18 at home to Wharfedale.

Bay dominated the first half and led 14-0 at the interval after tries from Mika Mua and on-loan Steve Johns were converted by Dan Hawkes.

But after the break the floodgates opened when Wharfedale's David hall scored a try after 50 minutes.

Prop Peter Hall then scored two unconverted tries before a late penalty sealed Mounts Bay's fate.
