Friday feast for Magners opener

Magners Celtic League

The opening weekend of the Magners League will feature four Friday night matches.

Connacht will host Ospreys, Munster travel to Edinburgh, Dragons play Glasgow Warriors and Ulster meet Llanelli Scarlets on 5 September.

League chiefs also confirmed reigning champions Leinster will travel to last season's runners-up Cardiff Blues on Saturday, 6 September (1830 BST)

The Dragons v Glasgow game will be screened live on BBC 2 Wales.

5 September
Connacht v Ospreys (Sportsground, 1830 BST) Edinburgh v Munster (Murrayfield, 1930 BST) Dragons v Glasgow Warriors (Rodney Parade, 1905 BST, BBC 2 Wales) Ulster v Llanelli Scarlets (Ravenhill, 1830 BST)

6 September
Cardiff Blues v Leinster (Arms Park, 1830 BST, S4C)

9 September
Ospreys v Cardiff Blues (Liberty Stadium, 1935 BST, S4C)

10 September
