Exeter Chiefs have re-signed Launceston hooker Neil Clark ahead of next season's National One campaign.

The 27-year-old, who played 79 games for the Chiefs between 1999 and 2002, has also played for Bath and Bristol and began his career at Orrell.

He replaces Simon Jenkins, who will play for Doncaster Knights next season.

"He will have learned a massive amount from his time in the Premiership and he will bring that experience with him," said director of rugby Pete Drewett.

He is the latest front-row player to join Exeter following the signing of Northampton prop Chris Budgen on Tuesday.
