Italy cool talk of stadium switch
Italy's Stadio Flamini
The Stadio Flamini's current capacity is under 25,000
Italy will play next year's home Six Nations matches at Rome's Stadio Flaminio despite rebuilding work, the Italian Rugby Federation has confirmed.

FIR president Giancarlo Dondi had expressed concerns over delays to redevelopment work at the venue.

But he said on Tuesday: "The worries were relative to the potential delay in the modernisation of the inner structures of the Stadio Flaminio.

"The ground will remain the venue for our matches in the Six Nations."

Italy host England on 10 February and Scotland on 15 March.

The FIR had previously studied the possibility of moving Italy's games to the northern city of Genoa.
