How have England reached the final?
England crashed to a 36-0 defat to South Africa
England take on South Africa in the World Cup final in Paris on Saturday aiming to become the first side to win back-to-back titles.

But rather than masters of the universe, England have endured a torrid reign as world champions.

Just five weeks ago, Brian Ashton's men reached their nadir when they crashed to a 36-0 loss to the very same Springboks.

Since that dark day, England have found new steel. So, just how does a team that was ranked seventh in the world before the World Cup, stand on the brink of history?
