Italy centre Mirco Bergamasco has received a two-week ban for a trip on Scotland fly-half Dan Parks in his side's final World Cup group game.

The offence occurred during Italy's 18-16 defeat by Scotland.

Bergamasco's ban, which will affect his availability for his club side Stade Francais, will start on 8 October.

Meanwhile, Georgia wing Otar Eloshvili was banned for seven weeks for a spear tackle on Remy Martin during France's 64-7 victory in Marseille on Sunday.
