Romania have announced a World Cup squad which includes a number of players with experience of France's premier Top 14 competition.
Biarritz prop Petru Balan is a familiar face to French rugby fans
Biarritz prop Petru Balan and Perpignan flanker Ovidiu Tonita are among their stand-out players, while over half the squad play their club rugby in France.
The only player with an English connection is 24-year-old prop Paulica Ion, who has signed for Bath.
Romania are in Pool C alongside New Zealand, Scotland, Italy and Portugal.
