An amateur player has been banned from any involvement in rugby for two years after testing positive for cocaine.
Paul Price of Lydney RFC, who pleaded guilty, tested positive following a National League Three South game against Cinderford at on 17 March 2007.
The suspension by an RFU disciplinary panel runs until 17 April 2009.
It includes playing, training with or being a member of a club, coaching, administering or acting in any official capacity within the sport.
The prop appeared before Christopher Quinlan (chair), Mike Curling (Somerset RFU) and Dr Dan Brett (Bristol Rugby) in Bristol on Monday, 30 April.
