Italy will face Canada in the Division B final of the U19 World Championship at Shaw's Bridge on Friday night after victories on Monday night.
Italy easily accounted for the USA 31-6 while Canada eased past Georgia 19-3.
In the other classification games, Uruguay defeated Chile 21-3 while Tonga beat Zimbabwe 26-11.
In the bottom tier Romania had a 35-10 win over Chinese Taipei while Russia proved too strong for the Cook Islands as they eased home 21-14.
In the play-offs for fifth and sixth place which take place on Friday, Uruguay now play Tonga who came back from 11-0 down to beat Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe, meanwhile, now face Chile for seventh and eighth place while Romania tackle Russia to decide ninth and 10th while Chinese Taipei and Cooke Islands square to decide the bottom two placings.
