Springboks boss remains defiant
England celebrate after beating South Africa 29-9
England sent the Springboks reeling at Twickenham
South Africa coach Harry Viljoen refuses to feel the pressure after his side's record loss to England on Saturday.

The 29-9 defeat came in the wake of losing to France and a less than convincing display against Italy in the past two weeks, but Viljoen remains unperturbed.

"I can assure you we are going to fight back like hell. This is just a temporary setback," he said.

"We are blooding lots of young players and we will pass that."

Viljoen may insist on looking at the bigger picture, but it remains unclear whether his countrymen will feel the same way.

The South African public are renowned for their impatience - the Springboks have had seven coaches in nine years - and Viljoen may have to answer some awkward questions back home.

"When I get back I'll have a meeting with SARFU (South African Rugby Union) and we'll evaluate to see if they're happy that we are going forward or not going forward," Viljoen said.

The South African coach pointed to the defensive planning of his English counterpart Clive Woodward as the key to Saturday's result.

"I can assure you we did not have a kicking gameplan," Viljoen added.

"Their defensive structures were good and we couldn't get our system going.

"We didn't use our opportunities. They were well organised and they had done their homework on our attack."
