NZ 49-6 73: Kearney is announced man of the match 60: Talau goes over for his second try after fine work from Smith and Kearney. Paul converts. NZ 43-6 57: Jones and Paul combine to feed Talau who holds off England's defence before releasing Vainikolo for a dart to the line for his second try. Paul misses conversion. NZ 37-6 55: Henry Paul breaks from centre, throws long pass out to right winger Nigel Vagana who dives over. Paul converts. NZ 33-6 49: Paul Sculthorpe robbed of ball 30m from own line. NZ swiftly move ball across the line and Willie Talau cuts in to score. Paul converts. NZ 27-6 43: Pinpoint through kick from Sean Long gathered by Tony Smith, after a perfectly timed run, to put England's first score on the board. Farrell converts from under posts. NZ 19-0 34: Tonie Carroll goes over the line but Paul Wellens holds the New Zealander up and saves the try. 31: Nigel Vagana makes a 80m sprint to the line after Farrell is disposessed deep in the NZ half but Jamie Peacock makes a desperate last gasp tackle to stop the try. However Vagana releases the ball before the England defence can regroup and Vainikolo goes over. Henry Paul converts. NZ 13-0 26 mins: NZ awarded penalty for holding down but in driving rain Henry Paul misses from 40m. 24: Fighting breaks out between Keith Senior and Joe Vangano after a dispute at the play-the-ball. Several team-mates rush in to separate the players who escape with a talking to from referee Tim Mander. 22: England escape when Chev Walker fumbles a long kick in the wet conditions and drags the ball over his own try line. Lesley Vainikolo steps up for what looks a simple touch down but the ball squirms from his grasp and is adjudged a knock-on. 15: England get to within five metres of the NZ line for the first time but the attack breaks down on the last tackle. 13: England awarded penalty for off-side 40m out and Andy Farrell opts to kick up-field rather than kick for two points. 11: Henry Paul drops a point from ten yards on the sixth tackle after New Zealand are held up on the line. NZ 7-0 3 minutes: Henry Paul finds Stephen Kearney who slips easily through the English defence to put New Zealand ahead. Henry Paul converts in front of the post. NZ 6-0 1506GMT: England kick off after a six minute delay because of crowd congestion outside the Reebok Stadium in Bolton England: Radlinski, Walker, Naylor, Senior, Wellens, Deacon, Long, Fielden, Smith, Howard, Sculthorpe, Forshaw, Farrell.
