Martin Gleeson returns to Wigan Warriors squad

Centre Martin Gleeson has been recalled for Wigan's trip to Crusaders after being dropped for disciplinary reasons.

Gleeson, 29, was left out for Warriors' victory at Huddersfield and forced to play for the under-20s.

Coach Michael Maguire said little about the nature of the wrongdoing but has insisted the matter has now been dealt with satisfactorily.

"It's a clean slate. He played a good game with the under-20s. Everything has been sorted out this week," he said.

Stefan Marsh, who deputised for Gleeson against Huddersfield, keeps his place in the 19-man squad while forwards Liam Farrell and Iafeta Paleaaesina are vying to take over from the injured Lee Mossop.

The shoulder injury is not as bad as was first feared though Mossop will be sidelined for four to five weeks.

"It is good news for Lee," said Maguire. "He has been working really hard.

"He will undergo rehab and we will see how it goes over the next few weeks."

Wigan are still without full-back Cameron Phelps (groin) and winger Amos Roberts (knee).
