Wigan chairman Maurice Lindsay says it is time the Super League club won another trophy after announcing a net profit of £110,000 for 2004.
The Warriors were in financial trouble in the late 1990s and were forced to sell Central Park as a result.
But now an upbeat Lindsay is looking to the future, insisting: "The important goal for the club is to win a trophy as soon as possible."
Wigan are fourth in Super League and into the last 16 of the Challenge Cup.
