Morrison swaps Bulls for Wildcats

Australian forward Glenn Morrison will join Wakefield Trinity when he leaves Bradford at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old Australian, who moved from NRL side Parramatta Eels in 2007, has made 49 appearances for the Bulls, scoring 21 tries.

Wakefield coach John Kear said: "Glenn has a proven track record both in NRL and Super League.

"His decision to join the Wildcats further cements the development of the club and the team."

The Bulls' vice-captain has missed a large part of the 2009 season with a wrist injury and also cracked ribs.

Bulls coach Steve McNamara said: "Glenn has been tremendous for the club, both on and off the field.

"It goes without saying that we wish him every success for the future.

"Decisions on players' futures are ongoing and the decision not to offer Glenn another contract was purely a business decision made, we feel, in the best interests of the club."

Morrison enjoyed a successful first season with the Bulls winning awards at the Player of the Year ceremony and being named in the Super League 2007 Dream Team.
