Wakefield have signed Hull utility back Tom Saxton until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old, who can play at full-back or three-quarter, has spent the last month on loan at Belle Vue.
He will be eligible for Sunday's Powergen Challenge Cup fourth round tie against Wigan although he is an injury doubt with a back spasm.
Saxton was part of Hull's Challenge Cup-winning team last season, having joined them from Castleford at the start of 2005/06 season.
"We're delighted to get Tom on board," said Wakefield chief executive Steve Ferres. "We believe he will strengthen our options."
