Salford have signed Australian utility back Joel Moon and Crusaders forward Jordan James on two-year contracts. Moon, 23, arrives from the New Zealand Warriors as a replacement for Warrington-bound Stefan Ratchford. Wales international James, 31, returns to north-west rugby league circles, having played for Swinton, Wigan and Widnes before his move to Crusaders. Salford coach Matt Parish has already made two signings for next season, Shannan McPherson and Ben Gledhill. Aussie forward McPherson, 26, is due to arrive from South Sydney Rabbitohs, while young prop Gledhill, 21, has been signed on a three-year deal from Wakefield.
