Leeds Rhinos' Buderus anticipating more play-off drama
Buderus scored against Wigan in the 27-26 play-off win at the DW Stadium
Leeds hooker Danny Buderus expects more high tension in Saturday's play-off semi final with Wigan at Headingley.
The Rhinos won 27-26 in their dramatic first play-off clash at the DW Stadium two weeks ago - and Buderus expects a similarly close encounter.
Buderus told BBC Radio Leeds: "You'd put your money on there being similar high drama on Saturday night.
"Hopefully it will be close as both teams know each other well, having met four times already."
The Australian international is likely to start on Saturday night after a one-match ban was overturned.
Buderus was originally suspended for a dangerous throw in that first match at the DW Stadium on 12 September.
But he had that wiped out on appeal, which means he is now free to face Wigan again.
"It was a tough week," said Buderus. "But that's all behind me now and I've moved on.
"I didn't think it was such an issue when I went to the hearing, but it's one of those things and you have to roll with the punches.
"You just have to hope things go your way. Last season I missed some big games at the end of the season because of my broken leg, so I didn't want to miss out again. Hopefully I can play my part this year now.
"Every player will want to get their names in lights in this game and it will take everyone to play at the top of their game if we are to win on Saturday night.
"The little things will win semi-finals and I think that is the major key for us. Just keep chipping away at the small things and the big plays will follow."
