Quartet return to boost Hull KR

Justin Morgan
Justin Morgan welcomes back four players to play Wigan

Hull Kingston Rovers will have Shaun Briscoe, Ben Galea, Jake Webster and Scott Murrell back for their play-off game against Wigan on Saturday.

All four missed last week's defeat in round one at Leeds through injury but will play at Craven Park.

Rovers Coach Justin Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside: "It's a huge boost having those players back.

"They're players that have been been very good for us all year. They're big game players playing big games."

Morgan knows his side cannot afford any slip-ups against the Warriors with the winners progressing to the last four - whilst for the losers their season is over.

And after being named in the Super League Dream Team last week, Robins second row forward Clint Newton believes his experience in Australia will hold him in good stead against the Warriors.

He was a Grand Final winner when he played for the Melbourne Storm in 2007.

Newton said: "If I had not had half a dozen years at Newcastle playing in semi-finals with arguably the best players of all time I don't think I would have been prepared for it when I moved on to Melbourne.

"To come here and know what I have to do then hopefully I can put that on to some of the younger players and hopefully we can have a successful performance.

"This team still has a lot to learn and that is the exciting part about this side. You don't know what you're going to get some days whether it's going to be good or bad. "
