Lyne made his club debut in a 'friendly' against local rivals Hull KR
Hull FC have handed winger Reece Lyne a new three-year deal at the KC Stadium.
The 17-year-old is a product of the club's youth academy and FC coach Richard Agar believes he has a bright future ahead of him.
He said: "I'm thoroughly delighted. I think the kid's really deserved it, he's a genuine talent and I think we've all seen that."
Lyne made his Super League debut for the Black and Whites in March, scoring a try in their 27-20 defeat at Salford.
An ankle injury has since prevented the youngster from playing any further part in the first-team this season but Agar has been impressed with his progression.
"The developments he's made physically in the short period of time that he's been full-time have been a credit to him," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"What we know is he's got genuine pace and he's a genuine try-scorer.
"The thing that's impressed everybody since he's come into the full-time squad has been his attitude to his career and the maturity he's shown coming in with senior players."
