Hull have handed promising winger Tom Briscoe a new five-year contract which will keep him at the KC Stadium at least until the end of the 2013 season.

The 18-year-old made his Super League debut in last season's opening match against Warrington and went on to play in the Challenge Cup final.

"At Hull I can fulfil all the ambitions I have in the game," said Briscoe.

"This deal offers me security, which allows me to concentrate purely on playing, learning and improving."

Hull coach Richard Agar said: "It is a great signing.

"It is good for Tom and it is also good for us to tie one of the club's most promising talents up on a long-term deal."
