Huddersfield extend Mossop loan

Huddersfield Giants have extended the loan deal of Wigan's Lee Mossop to a week-by-week basis.

The 20-year-old forward initially joined the Giants on a month's loan on 18 May and has scored one try in three appearances so far.

Giants head coach Nathan Brown said: "It is great news for the club, as he is a young player that can certainly help us.

"It's a win-win situation for both the Giants and Wigan."

Brown added: "I'm grateful to Wigan chairman Ian Lenagan, who has allowed us to keep a player of Lee's talent, and they know that when he returns he will be a more rounded player through playing Super League games."
