Giants clinch Rhinos' McDonald
Huddersfield
Huddersfield have signed 29-year-old Leeds Rhinos prop forward Wayne McDonald on an 18-month deal.

McDonald, who is the biggest player in Super League at 6ft 7in and 118kg, has been on loan to Wigan this season.

"I'm delighted to sign Wayne. He's a player I've worked with at Wakefield," said Giants coach Jon Sharp.

"I know he has some very good skills, a physical presence and an excellent attitude. His signing is a big boost for the club."
