Handforth leaves relegated Tigers
Half-back Paul Handforth, 24, has become the first player to leave Castleford since they were relegated from Super League.

The former Wakefield stand-off made 17 appearances for the Tigers in Super League this year.

Handforth has signed a two-year contract with National League Two club Featherstone Rovers.

Castleford will be replaced by either Widnes or Hull KR in Super League for the 2007 season.
