Menzies is in his second season at the Bulls
Steve Menzies will leave Bradford Bulls after revealing he is unlikely to receive a new contract at Odsal.
The forward, who turns 37 at the end of the year, had hoped to remain at the Bulls but is confident of staying in Super League for next season.
He told BBC Radio Leeds: "Bradford have come back and said they're looking at other avenues at this stage.
"I don't think they have definitely said no but they're just looking at other options."
The Australian forward, who joined the Bulls from Manly in 2009, believes he is still capable of cutting it in the northern hemisphere's elite league for another season.
"It's obviously getting pretty late in the season and I'd like to play one more season, I still think I've got another season in me in Super League," he said.
"I've been happy the way I've played so I still think I can play another 12 months."
