Warrington concede another penalty after being caught offside and Kevin Sinfield kicks his side further in front.

Warrington show what they can do with a fantastic long pass by Lee Briers to Michael Sullivan who gets through a huge gap in the Leeds defence to find his way over to give the Wolves hope. But Briers misses the kick.

40 mins: As the second half starts Warrington pile on the pressure on, helped by a mistake by Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield.

39 mins: GOAL Leeds 12-6 Warrington
Leeds are penalised for markers not being square and surprisingly the Wolves opt to kick it rather than run the ball and Lee Briers cuts the gap as the half-time hooter sounds.

37 mins: Richie Barnett safely plucks the ball from the sky to give Warrington some metres as the half approaches the end.

35 mins:Kevin Sinfield proves that he can also kick a 40-20 to try to set Leeds up with a charge towards half-time.

33 mins: Warrington see another chance go begging within 20 metres of their own line when Martin Gleeson cannot hold the ball and they could live to regret it with so much possession in the opening half.

32 minsLee Briers dabs the ball through on the last tackle but he is obstructed by Keith Senior and Warrington get the penalty.

30 mins:A tackle by Keith Senior forces an error from Mark Gleeson and gifts possession back to the home side. Warrington's passing is not the best at the moment but they have to work hard defensively to hold back Leeds.

27 mins: A high tackle by Gareth Ellis on Paul Wood gives Warrington a penalty as they try to get to the line.

25 mins: Warrington are given a chance when Leeds are forced into a goal line drop out but Martin Gleeson's pass out to Henry Fa'afili is forward and they are penalised.

23 mins: Burrow is full of confidence and the Leeds defence is holding firm.

19 mins: TRY Leeds 12-4 Warrington
Rob Burrow once again causes problems for Warrington, breaking through from inside his own half and evading the Wolves defence with a neat move and he passes out to the supporting Danny McGuire who goes over for his 25th try of the season and Sinfield again adds the extras.

16 mins Leeds try to get forward and make it as far as the halfway line but Sinfield's kick is gathered easily by Stuart Reardon.

13 mins: An anxious moment for Leeds as Keith Senior tries to offload underneath his own posts Paul Rauhihi capitalises on a moment and tries to go over but there is an infringement and it is no try.

10 mins: TRY Leeds 6-4 Warrington
Briers' moment of magic allows Warrington to push for the line and Stuart Reardon passes out to Henry Fa'afili goes over the line. There is an anxious wait as the video referee looks through the angles but joy for the visiting fans as try is given but Briers misses the kick.

9 mins: Lee Briers eases the pressure on Warrington with a magnificent 40-20 as they bid to get back into the game.

8 mins: A Richie Barnett error 20 metres from his own line gifts possession back to Leeds but Clinton Toopi does the same and Warrington get possession back.

5 minutes: TRY Leeds 6-0 Warrington
But it is Leeds who get the opening score who get a second set of six after Reardon's error and Rob Burrow twists and turns his way over the line. Kevin Sinfield adds the extras.

3 minutes: Warrington are looking the more eager in the early exchanges but when Stuart Reardon fails to cope with a Rob Burrow high kick.

1 minute: Warrington complete their first set of six with Lee Briers launching a tricky kick down towards the corner on the last tackle.

1 minute: After a 10-minute delay because of traffic problems which affected the Warrington team's journey to Leeds, the game finally starts with Kevin Sinfield launching a kick down field.


The home side will be hoping to reach another Grand Final after losing to Bradford at Old Trafford 12 months ago.

But their task is more difficult after finishing third in the table. Warrington ended the regular season in sixth place.

The sides met earlier this month, with Leeds winning 54-16. Warrington have struggled with their away form all season.
