St Helens prop Nick Fozzard has signed a new contract that will keep him at Knowsley Road until the end of 2008.
Fozzard joined Saints from Warrington at the start of 2004
The 28-year-old, who made his Great Britain debut last October, has played 73 games for Saints since signing at the start of the 2004 season.
Fozzard said: "I'm glad the next two years have been sorted out. I've got fantastic team-mates and a great coach.
"It's the right place to be to try to win some trophies and I'm very happy to be staying."
Fozzard has also played for Leeds, Huddersfield and Warrington.
St Helens chief executive Sean McGuire said: "Nick is a quality British prop forward and we are delighted to have retained his services for the next two seasons.
"As well as being an important player for the team, he is a great character to have at the club, and we look forward to him continuing being a factor in our success in the future."
