McDonald boost for Rhinos
Wayne McDonald has agreed a new two-year contract with Leeds Rhinos.

The deal will keep the former Wakefield, Hull and St Helens forward at Headingley until the end of the 2005 season.

Former Wigan and Australian Test forward David Furner recently signed a new one-year contract extension with the Super League leaders.

"Dave Furner has been a top quality signing for us," said Leeds coach Daryl Powell.

"He has been a vital part of our success this year and I am delighted he has agreed to stay with us for another season."
