80mins: Sculthorpe, the hero for the hosts, kicks the ball out as the hooter sounds. Great Britain take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
78mins: With the minutes counting down, Tuqiri attempts a chip over the top, but only hands the ball to Great Britain. Sculthorpe makes the game safe for the hosts with a drop-goal.
75mins: Sculthorpe, after stealing the ball from Lyon gives possession back to Great Britain. The stand-off receives the ball five yards out and as the Australian defence hangs off, Sculthorpe jinks through tackles to go over next to the posts. Farrell adds the conversion to see Great Britain establish a vital seven-point lead.
73mins: Australia launch an attack from near their own line, but Sinfield stops Lockyer with a thumping tackle and wrestles the ball from his grasp. Great Britain, on attack, have Australia on the back foot but Sinfield loses the ball forward.
66mins:The visitors are thwarted when referee Connolly spots a foward pass from Stevens as Lyon goes over for a try.
59mins: MacDougall scores Australia's second try of the afternoon after a superb offload from Gidley. Johns adds the extra two points from the conversion.
57mins: Australia send the ball through their backline and Tuqiri cuts back on the inside. He pops a pass to Johns who runs in under the posts from 20 yards out without a hand being laid on him. The try-scorer kicks the conversion to narrow the gap.
54mins: Great Britain come up with the ball after another stray pass from Barrett goes into touch. Australia continue to misfire and are forced into errors by strong Great Britain defence.
51mins: Australia spread the ball wide and a dangerous chip kick ahead narrowly evades the chasing Tuqiri and Radlinski clears up the lose ball for Great Britain.
49mins: After another Australian error, Sculthorpe slots a drop-goal from in front to ensure Australia have to score three times to take the lead.
47mins: Joynt forces his way to within a yard from the line, but Great Britain lose the ball forward and Australia clear their line.
45mins: Fittler makes a break before the hooker Buderus is dragged down just short of the Great Britain try-line. He loses the ball forward as Australia continue to give up possession too easily.
43mins: After a solid set of six tackles for Great Britain, Farrell's drop-goal attempt slides past the uprights.
41mins: O'Connor, who was stamped on in the first half, stays on the bench after having 10 stitches put in his cheek. Stevens is penalised and then talks back to the referee and the penalty is marched forward 10 metres to put Great Britain on attack.

40mins: Fittler's kick goes into touch in-goal and Great Britain restart just as the half-time hooter goes. The world champions have been knocked off their stride by the hosts who fully deserve their lead at the break.
37mins: Australia drive the ball near the posts, but Kennedy passes the ball to Great Britain's Anderson just yards from the line. Farrell bursts up the field and passes to Connolly who is caught by a high tackle by Australian captain Fittler. He stays on the field, but is penalised. Farrell's kick at goal falls short from the half-way line.
33mins: Lockyer saves a ball from going into touch, but Tuqiri takes his time retrieving the ball and is tackled one yard out from his tryline. Australia win a penalty, but Radlinski leaps to stop the ball going out and Great Britain have possession.
30mins: Barrett drops the ball as Australia make yet another uncharacteristic mistake.
26mins: Vella spills the ball forward in a tackle, with Australia only five yards short of Great Britain's line. Great Britain attack and Sculthorpe jinks his way through tackles, before side-stepping past Lockyer to score next to the posts. Farrell kicks the conversion to reward Great Britain's impressive start.
23mins: Australia make another mistake when Johns drops the ball. Pryce skips out of four tackles to put the hosts firmly on attack.
20mins: Johns hoists a high ball, but Great Britain winger Pryce leaps to claim the ball to relieve the danger.
18mins: Radlinski picks up a grubber-kick and breaks the line to put Great Britain on attack, but Johnson tries to pass the ball under pressure and Australia come up with the ball.
14mins: Tuqiri, who has looked shaky in the early stages, drops a high ball, but Australia come up with the ball. Great Britain force a error and create an opening, but Johnson fails to hold a pass from Senior.
11mins: An attempted drop-goal by Sculthorpe misses, but Tuqiri puts Lockyer under pressure. Australia are forced to drop out from under the posts as the frenetic opening shows no sign of abating.
9mins: A Barrett grubber-kick rolls into touch in-goal as Great Britain continue to soak up Australian pressure.
7mins: Johnson tackles MacDougall by the corner flag to deny Australia a try after their first lengthy spell in possession.
4mins: Australian prop Stevens stomps on O'Connor while playing the ball. Stevens is placed on report by the referee, but is lucky to stay on the field.
2mins: Lockyer's kick is charged down by Peacock, Connolly swoops on the loose ball and passes back inside to Peacock. He crosses the line from five yards out to give Great Britain a superb start. Farrell kicks the conversion.
1min: Australian full-back Lockyer kicks-off and Radlinkski runs the ball back. Farrell kicks early in the tackle count and Australia are deep in their own territory.
A minute's silence is observed before kick-off to honour Remembrance Sunday.
