Danny Tickle's injury will be a big worry for Hull ahead of the play-offs
Hull condemned Crusaders to defeat in their final home match in Super League game with a crushing victory.
Craig Fitzgibbon got Hull under way before tries by Mark O'Meley, Richard Whiting, Fitzgibbon's second, Lee Radford and Danny Houghton.
Cameron Phelps extended their lead after the interval before Joe Westerman and Jordan Turner crossed the line.
Vince Mellars, Tony Martin and Peter Lupton went in for Crusaders but two Sam Obst tries compounded their misery.
It was not the performance the fans would have wanted as Crusaders, making their final home appearance before dropping out of Super League, parted their defence to allow Fitzgibbon in unchallenged for the opener.
Danny Tickle doubled his tally with the boot after O'Meley benefited from great handling for his try.
Whiting's score in the corner was created by Tickle but after Fitzgibbon went in for his second the Hull second row limped off with a hamstring injury.
Westerman took over the kicking duties and was soon employed when Radford crashed over and Houghton followed him just before half time.
Tries from Phelps, Westerman and Jordan Turner took Hull to 48-0 before centre Vince Mellars got a touchdown back to save face for Iestyn Harris' side.
Obst's score in the corner brought up the half-century for the visitors after the hour passed and in the closing 10 minutes Martin and Lupton went in for Crusaders before Obst grabbed his second try for Hull.
POST-MATCH VIEWS
Crusaders coach Iestyn Harris told BBC Radio Wales:
"It's a difficult job to motivate the group and try and get them to perform but it's the last home game and it was an emotional time for them.
"We'd won our last two and created a bit of momentum but to focus on 80 minutes of rugby league with everything else that's going on around them is difficult."
Hull FC coach Richard Agar told BBC Radio Humberside:
"Our first two forays came up with some points. Danny [Tickle] felt some tightness in his hamstring and we had the luxury of some substitutions and a lot of points on the board so we though we'd give him a rest."
