Halifax snap up Fiji centre Mike Ratu

Ratu scored once try in five Super League appearances in 2010

Halifax have re-signed former Leeds and Hull KR centre Mike Ratu.

The 23-year-old Fiji international, who had a loan spell at the Shay in 2008, was released by the Robins this winter.

Fax coach Matt Calland said: "Mike's got all the tools to be a top centre, not just at this level but at Super League level too."

Meanwhile, the Championship side have taken Ryan Fieldhouse on trial and Calland said: "He is the best amateur full-back in the country."
