RFL warns France coach Bobbie Goulding over conduct

France coach Bobbie Goulding has been reprimanded over his behaviour at a rugby league awards ceremony.

The former Great Britain scrum-half was involved in a fracas after the dinner in Leeds in November ahead of the Four Nations final.

His conduct prompted an investigation by the Rugby Football League in their capacity as tournament organisers.

The RFL has warned the 38-year-old he could be fined or suspended if he re-offends at any stage in the future.

Wigan, Leeds, St Helens, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Salford old boy Goulding is just 12 months into a three-year deal with the French Federation.

The former Rochdale coach, 17-times capped by Great Britain in the 1990s, was a surprise appointment when chosen to succeed Australian John Monie.

His next fixture will be the mid-season international against England at Leigh on 12 June.
