Keighley sign second-row Baines

Keighley Cougars

Keighley Cougars have signed Oldham back-row forward Chris Baines.

The 25-year-old made 29 appearances for Oldham last season scoring a total of 114 points and becomes the Cougars fifth new signing.

Head coach Barry Eaton said: "I think he will be a very important player for us in the Championship."

Baines will also take up the role of the club's sport development officer, working within the Aireville School Sports Partnership.
