Morley relishing England honour

Warrington forward Adrian Morley says it will be an honour to captain England against Wales on Saturday as his team prepare for the Four Nations.

England beat the Welsh 74-0 last year and Morley hopes England's opponents have improved.

"It's always an honour to lead your country, so I'm delighted," Morley told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"Wales are going to be spirited. We're all hoping they can put up a tougher showing than last year."

After the Wales clash, England face Australia, New Zealand and France in the Four Nations tournament, with Tony Smith's side opening against the French on Friday, 23 October.

"It's always an exciting opportunity when you get to play against the Australians and the world champions New Zealand," Morley continued. "They are two very strong sides.

"But let's not forget France who were missing a number of regulars when we beat them in the one-off Test in June. They are going to be strong as well.

"It's a very exciting format. It's a good chance to come up against the best in the world and see what we're made off.

"We're desperate to get out there and make amends for [the World Cup] last year."
