Leeds celebrate last season's Grand Final win
Leeds will be hoping to win another Grand Final title

The 2009 Grand Final take places on Saturday 10 October, when Leeds Rhinos target a hat-trick of titles in Sean Long's final game for St Helens.

This is how the two teams reached Old Trafford.

WEEK ONE (18-20 Sept)

Qualifying play-offs:

Leeds 44-8 Hull KR

St Helens 15-2 Huddersfield

(Winners advance to week three; losers to week two)

Elimination play-offs:

Wakefield 16-25 Catalans Dragons

Wigan 18-12 Castleford

(Winners advance to week two; losers eliminated)

WEEK TWO (25-26 Sept)

Preliminary semi-finals:

Huddersfield 6-16 Catalans Dragons

Sat 26 Sep: Hull KR 16-30 Wigan

WEEK THREE (2-3 Oct)

Fri 2 Oct: Leeds vs Catalans Dragons
First semi-final. Leeds selected Catalans as their opponents in a historic "ClubCall" decision on 27 September.

Sat 3 Oct: Second semi-final: St Helens v Wigan

(Winners advance to Grand Final; losers eliminated)

WEEK FOUR (10 Oct)

Grand Final, Old Trafford: Leeds v St Helens
