Bulls quash Noble return rumours

Bradford Bulls have denied they are lining up a return to Odsal for former coach Brian Noble.

Bradford are currently languishing in 12th place in the Super League, and coach Steve McNamara is being tipped by bookmakers to lose his job.

However, Bulls chairman Peter Hood said Wigan boss Noble will not be returning.

"Speculation that Brian is to return to Bradford as head coach is precisely that - rumour and speculation - which I can categorically deny," he said.

Noble took Bradford to five consecutive Grand Final appearances before making a shock move to Wigan in 2006.

He is out of contract with the Warriors, who are currently ninth in the table, at the end of the season.

McNamara, who succeeded Noble, guided Bradford to a 34-30 victory at St Helens last week but has been under pressure following their poor start to the campaign.
