Soliola was told he risked serious injury if he played in the World Cup

New Zealand centre Sia Soliola is out of the World Cup because of a shoulder injury and has been replaced by Wests Tigers forward Bronson Harrison.
"This is a huge blow for me," said the 22-year-old Sydney Roosters player. "The toughest thing was telling the boys I had to pull out of the team."
The loss of Soliola is another blow to the Kiwis, who are already missing prop Jeff Lima and full-back Brent Webb.
The Kiwis, coached by Stephen Kearney, face hosts Australia on Sunday.
"Sia was always a vital part of our squad and he contributed so much from the moment we came together as a group two weeks ago," said Kearney.
"It's disappointing for all of us that he won't be a part of it but we're also pleased we can call on a player like Bronson."
