With the responsibility of captaincy added to goal-kicking and play-making duties, Scotland have placed a lot of weight on Brough's slim shoulders.

The 25-year-old has everything you want from a scrum-half: an organiser in defence and attack with the vision to get his backline going not to mention a running game of his own to keep tacklers guessing.

Add the flamboyant Wakefield star's top-notch kicking game to the mix and the case for Scotland upsetting the odds begins to look somewhat clearer.
