New Zealand stand-off Benji Marshall

One of the world's most talented players with ball in hand, a fully firing Marshall could be the key to New Zealand's chances of a first ever World Cup triumph.

Marshall's devastating sidestep, delicate kicking game and eye for the killer pass give the Wests Tigers stand-off options galore when attacking the tryline.

But the Kiwis need the 23-year-old to stay in one piece, with his injury record over the last few seasons giving Paul Sculthorpe a run for his money and leading to some question marks over his continued effectiveness.
