Warrington (2) 8
Tries: Grix Goals: Hicks 2
Murphy scored a brace of tries either side of the break
Winger Justin Murphy bagged four tries as Catalans crushed Warrington in the engage Super League play-offs.
The French side went behind to an early Chris Hicks penalty but led 22-2 at half-time thanks to tries from Murphy (2), Thomas Bosc and Dimitri Pelo.
A Casey McGuire touchdown increased their lead soon after the break before Simon Grix went over for Warrington.
But the Dragons were not to be denied, with Gregory Mounis, Clint Greenshields and Murphy (2) completing the rout.
Warrington went into the game on the back of a four-match losing run and with several players less than fully fit, among them influential forward Adrian Morley.
Beaten 52-14 in Perpignan in June, they started well, opening the scoring when Hicks kicked a penalty.
But it did not take long for Catalans to get into their stride, Murphy scoring two tries in 10 minutes to put the home side firmly in control.
The winger took Bosc's cut-out pass to touch down on 18 minutes and then wrong-footed Kevin Penny for his second.
Bosc made the Wolves pay with another try nine minutes before the break, re-gathering possession after Martin Gleeson had succeeded only in knocking the ball to ground.
Bosc then found Pelo unmarked on the left wing to create a fourth try and landed a third conversion to give his side a 20-point cushion.
McGuire soon added another try for the home side after the interval when he pulled out of an attempted tackle by Paul Wood.
The Wolves could do little right and, even when Hicks jinked his way through the home defence, he had the ball knocked from his grasp by Bosc as he was about to touch down.
Warrington eventually gained some consolation when loose forward Grix supported a break by Michael Monaghan to score but the Dragons cut loose with four further tries in the final quarter.
Murphy followed up John Wilson's kick to the corner to complete his hat-trick, Mounis finished off a slick handling move, and Adam Mogg sent Greenshields sprinting 40 metres for his 18th try of the season.
Wilson then broke clear to send the prolific Murphy over for his fourth try to put the seal on victory and set up a meeting with Wigan, who beat Bradford 30-14 in their play-off tie on Friday.
