Oldham crush Barrow title hopes

Rugby league

Barrow Raiders hopes of clinching the National League Two title were all but ended by 34-22 defeat to rivals Oldham Roughyeds at Boundary Park on Sunday.

An injury-hit Oldham side ran in six tries to Barrow's four as the Raiders failed to complete a season's double over their promotion rivals.

With Gateshead clinching promotion against Blackpool, both sides will now battle it out for runners-up spot.

Raiders welcome play-off hopefuls Keighley to Craven Park on Friday.
