Celtic Crusaders beat Halifax for the second match in succession, adding a Northern Rail Cup victory at the Shay on Sunday to a National League One win.

The visitors went into the interval with a 12-0 lead, Anthony Blackwood and Neale Wyatt crossing.

Darren Mapp added a third after the break, Mark Lennon again converting.

Halifax fought back and two tries in the last three minutes, Andy Gorski and Sean Penkywicz breaking through, gave Crusaders some nervous late moments.
