Tries from David Ferriol, Cyril Stacul and Clint Greenshields helped give the home side a 16-0 interval lead.

Wakefield hit back through Ricky Bibey, but Dane Carlaw further consolidated the French side's advantage.

Tries by Richard Moore, Matt Blaymire and Scott Grix cut the lead to 22-20, before Alex Chan's late effort and a Thomas Bosc goal sealed the win.
