Swinton Lions gained revenge on Celtic Crusaders with a 21-10 win at the Welsh side's Brewery Field home on Sunday.
The last time the two sides met in LHF Healthplan National League Two the Crusaders triumphed 50-18 at Swinton.
But the Lions turned the tables, Lee Marsh starring for the visitors with a try, four goals and a drop.
Lions extended their 8-6 half-time lead with Martin Moana and Andy Saywell tries, while Luke Young and Neil Dixon scored the Crusaders' consolations.
The visitors had Dave Newton sin-binned for holding down in the tackle midway through the second half.
But Crusaders failed to take advantage of the extra man, or then the extra space when Jace Van Dijk and Moana were sin-binned for fighting soon after, reducing the numbers to 12 v 11 for the next eight minutes.
The victory put the Lions up to third place with Crusaders slumping to fourth, five points adrift of leaders Dewsbury Rams.
Crusaders coach John Dixon said: "We tried really hard and defended fairly well apart from on a couple of occasions.
"We didn't convert chances into points though - we didn't use the ball enough and we needed to be a little more determined."
