National League club Oldham have been given a reprieve after coming close to being wound up by the Inland Revenue.
The Roughyeds, re-formed in 1997 after Oldham Bears went into liquidation, owe £180,000 in unpaid taxes and had had a repayment plan rejected on Monday.
But a revised proposal was submitted and accepted on Tuesday.
Chairman Chris Hamilton said: "It has been very, very traumatic. There was a point yesterday when I really did think we were struggling."
