Allan Bateman, John Devereux and Kevin Ellis have been included in Wales' squad for this autumn's Rugby League European Nations Cup.
Bateman still plays Union and League at the age of 39
Bateman (aged 39), Devereux (38) and Ellis (36) now play for Bridgend Blue Bulls in the Welsh Conference.
"I've had a great time with Bridgend and I still play Union for Maesteg with John and Allan," said Ellis.
Wales open their campaign against Ireland at Aberavon RUFC on Sunday, 17 October (1430 BST).
"Allan, John and I had the phone call from Welsh coach Steve Wilkinson," said Ellis.
"We've been invited to be in the squad, so barring injuries and unavailability, we're looking forward to it."
"The home game shouldn't be a problem for any of us.
"However the away match at Scotland may prove difficult for Allan and John as they are both now working in high-paid jobs outside of rugby.
"Their appearances will depend on the broken-time payments that the Rugby League will be offering."
