Hull have signed Peter Lupton from Leeds and Alex Wilkinson from Bradford on one-month loan deals.

Lupton, a 21-year-old loose forward or stand-off, started his career at London four years ago and has over 30 Super League games to his name.

But he's been unable to break into the Rhino's first team squad this year.

Alex Wilkinson, a 19-year-old winger or centre, has found his chances limited at Odsal with established winger Lesley Vainikolo and Tevita Vaikona ahead of him.

"We're are looking at both of them as possible long-term signings," said Hull coach John Kear.

"We'll see how they go over the next month."

Meanwhile, Hull may soon step into the transfer market again.

They have targeted at least one second row forward currently playing at another Tetley's Super League club.

"We can't say too much at the moment," said Kear. "But we are always looking to add more quality to our squad."
