Clockwatch: Bulls 18-19 Saints
All the action as it happened from the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford.

80 mins: The game ends in controversial circumstances as Bradford claim they should have won a penalty. But the trophy belongs to St Helens.

79 mins: After superb running from Saints, they get the ball to Long on the last tackle and he slots the drop goal home to put his side within touching distance of victory.
Bradford 18-19 St Helens.

78 mins: Sculthorpe is the latest to attempt a drop goal, but once more the effort is off target.

75 mins: James Lowes pushes a kick beyond the Saints defence but can not quite get on the end of it.

74 mins: Deacon goes for the drop goal under pressure and fires wide of the posts.

73 mins: Darren Britt loses the ball in the tackle. He feels the ball has been ripped away but he is not given a penalty.

71 mins: Given so much space and time, Long lines up a drop goal staright in front of the posts, but he misses an easy chance to put Saints ahead.

69 mins: Vaikona is hit by a high tackle, which is ruled to be a shoulder barge by the referee. Paul is floored with cramp as the players start to feel the relentless pace of the match.

67 mins: Saints are stretched in defence and Albert makes another last-ditch tackle to prevent a score.

67 mins: With Albert out of position, Pryce bursts through and looks to be on his way to a score. Bennett manages to catch his legs and bring him down with a try-saving tackle.

65 mins: Saints win a penalty under the posts as McDermott takes the man and not the ball. Long levels the scores.
Bradford 18-18 St Helens.

64 mins: Sculthorpe takes the ball at pace but Brian McDermott halts his progress.

63 mins: Costin's kick goes out of play and Saints earn the put-in in the scrum.

61 mins: Saints defence is solid as Bradford give the ball up after falling shot of the line following their set of six tackles.

60 mins: Hoppe makes an important interception as Costin's pass almost puts Leon Pryce clean through.

57 mins: A difficult kick is made to look difficult as Long fails to haul Saints level.

56 mins: Sculthorpe is held up inches short on the next phase, but the ball goes out wide and Gleeson dives over in the corner.
Bradford 18-16 St Helens.

55 mins: Withers makes a vital stop as Albert looks to have made the breakthrough.

54 mins: Anderson stops Sculthorpe dead in his tracks with a mighty hit.

53 mins: Gleeson shows great strength and vision to burst past three Bulls defenders. But Saints can not take advantage of their good position.

50 mins: Darren Albert tries to run the ball out of defence, but Saints are beginning to look tired.

48 mins: A good kick into open space places St Helens on the back foot.

47 mins: Deacon misses the kick.

47 mins: The Bulls are rampaging through the Saints' defence now. Deacon is instrumental once more and Withers dives over for a score in the corner.
Bradford 18-12 St Helens.

44 mins: Fast hands from Bradford, as Deacon offloads to Anderson, works an opening for Robbie Paul and he gratefully accepts his chance to touch down and help restore his side's lead. Deacon is on target to add the extras.
Bradford 14-12 St Helens.

42 mins: St Helens complete their set of six tackles, but there is a distinct lack of chasers for the kick.

41 mins: Deacon kicks off to start the second half.

40 mins: Deacon appears to be taken out off the ball by Sculthorpe but the illegal challenge is not noticed by the referee.

39 mins: Sculthorpe is caught offside. The Bulls run the ball but Vainikolo is taken into touch as he goes for the corner.

37 mins: Poor handling from Bradford costs them a try-scoring opportunity. They look bewildered by Saints' comeback.

35 mins: Anderson successfully charges down Long's kick.

32 mins: Bradford pay the ultimate price as they dangerously play two long passes along the line just five metres out. Paul Anderson loses the ball in the tackle and Saints profit as the ball goes wide to Long, who goes over unchallenged. Long makes the conversion from the touchline

30 mins: Newlove provides an immovable barrier for Vaikona to run into and the Bradford winger loses the ball as a result.

28 mins: Deacon finds space but there is no second-phase support and a looping pass goes astray.

27 mins: A jinking run from Lee Gilmour takes him past two defenders, but Bradford are forced to kick on the last tackle.

24 mins: The ball squirms free as Sean Hoppe is tackled. Mike Bennett picks up the ball and scores only the second try of his career. The video referee decides the score is legal. Long adds the extras.
Bradford 8-6 St Helens

23 mins: Long's kick is missed by the Bradford defence and Gleeson collects after the ball after it bounces once.

22 minutes: Deacon makes no mistake with his second long-range penalty to put Bradford further ahead.
Bradford 8-0 St Helens.

20 mins: Wellens' Grand Final is over after news comes through that he has sustained a fractured cheekbone.

20 mins: As the breathless pace continues, Saints threaten the Bulls' line for the first time in the match but Newlove is held up short.

18 mins: By contrast, the Bulls' attack is achieving good penetration and Stuart Fielden drives through two tackles.

17 mins: St Helens are making little progress as the Bulls' defence stands firm and once again they suffer a turnover.

15 mins: Martin Gleeson loses the ball in the tackle and Bradford earn possession of the ball.

14 mins: Chris Joynt delivers a crunching tackle on Daniel Gartner as Saints attempt to get back in contention.

13 mins: Strong defence from Withers prevents Saints geting on the end of a hopeful kick by Paul Sculthorpe.

12 mins: Bradford, frustrated not to be given the try, commit a penalty and St Helens begin their first real attack.

11 mins: Withers sprints through a gaping hole in the St Helens defence to touch down for Bradford's second try. The decision, though goes to the video referee, who disallows the score.

10 mins: Paul Newlove steals the ball as Bradford earn a new set of six tackles five minutes from Saints' line.

9 mins: Bradford earn a penalty 40 metres out. Deacon manages the distance but his kick lacks accuracy.

7 mins: The Bulls continue to apply intense pressure as St Helens struggle to get into the match. Tevita Vaikona makes ground through the middle.

6 mins: St Helens suffer another early blow as Paul Wellens is forced off the field through injury.

3 mins: Bradford are off to a fantastic start as Scott Naylor takes an inside pass from the wing and goes over for the first try. Paul Deacon is successful with the conversion.

2 min: Long kicks over the top but Michael Withers comfortably collects the ball.

1835: Saints' Sean Long gets the game under way.

1830 BST: The teams emerge from the tunnel to the roar of the 63,000-strong crowd.
