Giants net record win
McNamara scored 18 points for Huddersfield
Huddersfield equalled their club record of 23 straight wins with a 50-16 victory over Hull KR to continue their domination of the Northern Ford Premiership.
Steve McNamara was the Giants' star, landing seven goals and scoring a try as they kept up their 10-point lead at the top and remained on course for the Super League. Centre Eorl Crabtree and full-back Paul Reilly scored two tries each with Chris Thorman, Ben Cooper, Andy Rice and winger Hefin O'Hare adding one apiece.
Dale Cardoza marked his Centurions debut with a brace of tries with Chris Morley, Andy Isherwood and Dave Whittle also chipping in towards the end. Third-placed Featherstone coasted to a 52-10 victory over Hunslet, who were never in the game. Hooker Richard Chapman led Rovers' 10-try spree with a hat-trick while scrum-half Jamie Rooney rattled up 20 points with two tries and six goals. Rochdale, in fourth, had returning winger Casey Mayberry to thank for their 62-20 win over Workington. Mayberry was back for the Hornets after three months out with injury and his impact was immediate as he scored four of his side's 11 tries. Paul Owen also completed a hat-trick of touchdowns to make it a comfortable win for the Lancashire side. Substitute Paul Harrison finished off a superb 50-metre move 10 minutes from time to rescue a point for below-par Batley in a 20-20 draw against Oldham. Full-back Johnny Woodcock chalked up 22 points as Doncaster demolished their South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield 46-10 with a devastating first-half display. Chris Ross touched down twice and Woodcock scored a try and nine goals as the home side took charge, with Peter Green and Tony Atter also grabbing tries. Whitehaven brushed aside Barrow 26-6, Steve Kirkbride kicking five goals for the Warriors. Keighley earned their seventh win of the season with a 28-18 win over struggling Swinton. Paul Ashton put in a man-of-the-match performance for the Cougars, contributing 19 points with a try, seven goals and a drop goal.
